




Matthew Brown
Matt has been a resident of Rochester Hills Michigan for over 28 years. He is a graduate of Oakland University and Wayne State Law School, and was admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in 1987. He has been married to his wife Toni for over 30 years and they have two sons. Their oldest son, Matthew J. Brown, is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business. Matthew has completed two years of law school at University of Detroit Mercy and currently acts as a law clerk at his father’s practice with plans to join the firm upon graduation. Their other son, Danny, will be a senior in high school in the fall of 2008.
While in law school, Matt worked as a student intern for Justice Patricia Boyle of the Michigan Supreme Court (now retired). After graduation, he was employed as Staff Attorney for a large restaurant franchisor for three years. Following that experience, he worked for Lakeshore Legal Services, Inc., a non-profit government funded program that provided services to persons 60 years of age and older. After leaving Lakeshore, Matt has maintained a private practice in the Rochester area for over 17 years. Matt has served as President of the Rochester Bar Association in 2000.
In June, 2008, he moved his practice to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but still maintains an office in Rochester. He continues to actively practice in state and federal courts throughout Michigan.
